The honor falls upon us again to introduce you a magnificent art project called 1000 Broken Faces, and the talented artist behind all the faces – Takahiro Kimura. The motive is implied by the name of the project is to capture the facial expression which is unique at a moment that can never be seen again, into the 1000 masterpieces.
The talent of Takahiro Kimura is not only limited to art design field, but to the extent of filmmaking. He is an entity that combines collage artist, illustrator and filmmaker into one flawlessly. Beyond that, the bold and formidable style of collage has distinguished him from the crowd, and the result of it is simply inspirational.
“Human emotion is intricate and elusive”, Takahiro commented and he attempted not to hold up the emotion during the stage of creation. Otherwise, the emotion would overwhelm and the work might not able to catch up. According to Takahiro, the faces might be a mirror of your emotion; if you are provoked by some of the complicated emotions from the faces, it might be projections of what you have inside. It’s really cool, isn’t it?

Although we have only 30 pieces of face here, I believe much emotion and impression have been induced around the atmosphere. Not only just inspirational, but I think I have captured the message from the artist too. By the way, do you managed to find your own face? If not, we strongly recommend you to visit the origin of faces – broken1000faces.com. It’s definitely worth a visit though!
